A day of red, white and blue…
…but mostly blue.
That is all.
“We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it.”
mostly blue 😦
i wore my red american shirt today around the city. the canadian rez. were like “what gives!” but he american tourists were quite please 😛 lovin ur flag socks!
i like your RW & B socks! Happy 4th, hope it was fun!
Happy 4th (for yesterday) to you too!
Sorry you’re feeling blue 😦 But I hope you managed to enjoy at least some of the day, maybe, perhaps, just a smidge?
Your patriotic outfit is great: just shows that you don’t need to be over the top or gaudy to show loyalty to your country. You’ve managed it and still look both sophisticated and stylish.
My favourite colour is blue, it seems calming more than sad to me 🙂 I like your socks! Patterned socks rock (yes, I am five years old at heart). I hope you have a nice week!
I hope the mostly blue part doesn’t mean that you had a bad day, hun 😦
I like the quote… really hit home with respects to recovering from an ED. To be free from our ED’s, we have to practice our freedom by choosing what we want as opposed to what’s dictated to us by our ED’s. The only way to be free of fear is to face fear.
Hope you’re doing well, love ❤
I agree with that quote 100% … it’s not simply enough to claim to be something. It’s important to work at anything in our lives, to keep it up, to maintain the habit, be it freedom and liberty from government interference in our lives, or freedom from our own negative habits. We are the ones in control – and we are the ones who must make the conscious choices every day.
oh your so patriotic! haha 🙂
